1500 books on medicine have been discovered near the Weteni Hospital as part of the efforts to clear the remnants of war by the Raqqa Culture and Arts Committee.

According to committee members, each book is worth an average of 100.000 Syrian Liras (~$200). Most of them are in French and English.

The committee has taken the books to the Raqqa Civilian Assembly Culture and Arts Committee where they will be conserved.

Committee officials gave information about the books and said search efforts in the area where the books were discovered continue.
