16 BDP voters taken into custody
Including several village headmen, 16 BDP voters have been taken into custody today as a result of village raids in Bingöl.
Raids were carried out in Yigitler, Kýzýlaðaç, Aþaðý Yaðmurlu, Xaruk, Kelkoç and Seris villages of Karlýova and Adaklý districts of Bingöl. The operation targeted BDP voters this time.
While the reason of detentions is still not known, 16 detained civilians are reportedly held at Bingöl Gendarmerie Station Command.
On the other hand, police also took an epilepsy patient civilian into custody in Mersin. The young boy was detained following a raid on his house at Güneþ Neighborhood which has a high Kurdish population.
