16 including HDP and DBP administrators detained in Bursa
Police detained 16 people- among them HDP and DBP administrators- in continued political genocide operations in the western province of Bursa.
Police forces conducted raids on several houses in Gemlik, Yıldırım, Osmangazi and Nilüfer districts of Bursa province early Monday morning.
16 people including provincial and district branch administrators of the Democratic Regions' Party (DBP) and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) were taken into custody in the operation.
The detainees who were taken to the police headquarters include HDP Party Assembly member Rahim Dede, HDP Bursa provincial branch administrators Metin Kılıç, Onur Meriç and Mustafa Demirel, DBP provincial branch co-chair Metin Gökçe, as well as university students Ömer Ergül, Mehmet Buğdaycı, Murat Pınar.
