Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters moved deep into Kurdan neighbourhood in central Raqqa on Friday. After violent clashes with ISIS gangs, SDF forces captured various areas.

SDF sources reported 17 ISIS members were killed and a large number of arms and ammunition were seized.

SDF fighters also captured five vehicles which are ready to be turned into VBIEDs along with 15 missiles, 6 sniper rifles, 4 BKC rifles, 35 large ammunition boxes and 700 hand grenades.
