180 Kurdish families displaced by Iranian military

At least 180 Kurdish families were displaced last week as a result of continuous shelling of the border region by Iranian army.

Local sources said 180 families from Pishdar, Qaladizah and Choman provinces immigrated to Ranyah, a town of Soran region, close to Iranian border.

Families left all their belongings behind and most of them are now settled at relatives homes.

There are unconfirmed reports that Iranian military crossed the border.  The scale of the military operation is still unknown.

Iranian artillery intensified "routine bombings" on the border region for over 4 weeks.

Hundreds of families are displaced in result of the bombings.

HRK launched a campaign against Iranian army after Tehran regime executed 5 Kurds including 4 PJAK militants earlier this month.

Latest string of attacks claimed the lives of 69 Iranian soldiers.
