22 people die during bomb attacks in Baghdad

22 people died and 70 people got critically injured during two separate bomb attacks in the Iraqi capitol Baghdad. The coordinated attacks occurred in the market place in Jadida.

A military base in eastern Baghdad and a marketplace in the Shia-majority Jadida district were the targets of two coordinated carbomb attacks today at 09:00.

Police officials announced that at least 15 people died and 50 people got injured during the attack in the marketplace in Jadida.

7 soldiers died and more than 20 people got injured during the attack on the military base in Taji.

ISIS claimed responsibility for both attacks.
