23 ISIS members killed in violent clashes in Raqqa
23 ISIS members killed and one bomb laden vehicle was destroyed during heavy clashes ongoing in Raqqa’s east and city center.
As clashes continue in Raqqa city center since early Tuesday morning, ISIS gangs dressed in civilian clothes attacked the SDF positions in Samra village 3 km east of the city. SDF fighters destroyed one bomb laden vehicle of the gangs here.
During ongoing fighting in the center and east of the city, 23 ISIS members were killed and bodies of 3 remained in SDF possession.
YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have taken 80% of Raqqa under their control since the launch of the campaign to liberate the city from ISIS on June 6, dubbed the ‘Great Battle’.
