The indefinite-rotating hunger strike ongoing for 131 days in the Lavrio city of Greece was taken over by 27th group on Friday. So far, 26 groups, each consisting of eight people, have participated in the hunger strike in five-day shifts.
The speech on the behalf of new group taking over the hunger strike saluted the guerrilla resistance against the invasion attacks of the Turkish state. The group also called for sensitivity for the hunger strike of political prisoners in Turkey and North Kurdistan who are protesting against isolation and ever-increasing rights violations in prisons for 169 days.
The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger-TCŞ), European Kurdish Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurdistan a Ewropa-TJK-E) and Kurdish Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kürdistan).
