The Democratic Kurdish Council of France (CDK-F) has set up crisis desks and continues its works to provide food and other aid for the needy in the country.
Three Kurds and 12 people from the Chaldean community living in Paris and suburbs have lost their life as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
CDK-F has sent a message of condolences to Bruno Zaya Yakan, chairperson of the Assyrian-Chaldean Association in France (AACF) and said the following; “We, the Kurds who have experienced griefs throughout history, share the sorrow of the Chaldean community, an ancient folk of Mesopotamia. We wish a healthy life for all the Chaldean community and offer our condolences to the families of our slain Chaldean brothers and sisters, and wish them patience.”
