The Turkish state continues its political genocide operations against the Kurdish and pro-Kurdish circles in which more raids are conducted and dozens of people are detained by police forces on daily basis.
Within the scope of a large-scale detention operation in Istanbul, 39 people have been detained today.
Anti-terror teams from Istanbul Police Headquarters launched simultaneous operations in many districts of Istanbul, including Bağcılar, Küçükçekmece, Esenyurt, Gaziosmanpaşa, Esenler, Bahçelievler, Kadıköy and Sultangazi this morning.
HDP and HDK executives, trade unionists and the editor of Özgür Gündem daily are among those detained in the operations so far.
The detainees have been taken to Istanbul Police Headquarters.
