A 4.6 magnitude earthquake was registered in Varto (Gimgim) district of Muþ city in Kurdistan early this morning.
The Istanbul-based Kandilli seismology center announced on its website that the quake occurred at 04:37 a.m. Its epicenter was in the locality of Gelintaþý in Varto district. The quake struck at a depth of 3.8 kilometers, notified the statement of the earthquake search center.
