The vigil protest for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan in front of the European Council in Strasbourgh continues on its 4th year today.

Representatives of Kurdish institutions carry out the vigil this week and protestor Helene Erin stated that the representatives of morethan 400 Kurdish institutions would participate in the vigil throughout this week.

The vigil protest for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, which had begun in Strasbourg on June 25, 2012, entered its 4th year. Martyr Families in Europe representative Şengê Kahraman, Kurdish Women’s Movement in Europe (TJK-E) representative Delal Rubar, Kurdistan Islamic Society (CİK) Hafız Turhallı, and Germany Kurdish Society Center (NAV-DEM) Co-President Yüksel Koç began to carry out this week’s vigil.
