A 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck southeastern Turkey once more earlier today, the Kandilli Observatory said. The new earthquake happened four days after an the one in Van which killed more than 500 people.

Today's quake hit the districts of Yüksekova and Hakkari, near the borders with Iraq and Iran, south of Van province. There are no immediate reports of casualties or damages.
