Sixty nine people were taken into custody today at polls on the grounds of being sought by the police for various crimes.
Diyarbakýr Governor Mustafa Toprak stated that 69 people were detained today in Diyarbakýr after voting procedures.
Toprak remarked that the voting procedure was performed in peace and safety.
Noting that the vote rating continues, Toprak said the followings; "During the voting procedures, 69 people, sought by police for various crimes such as murder, grab, theft, were taken into custody after giving their votes. Separately, legal procedures have been launched against 12 people, including two presiding officers, for violating the laws. These people are proved to have committed the crimes of casting vote in the name of others, interference in voting, propaganda, voting twice or intending to do, inculcating and making suggestions to voters. Legal proceedings began after voting proceedings.
