7 Kurdish workers killed, 20 injured in fatal accident
A group of Kurdish workers who were on their way from Amed to Sakarya for nut harvesting, had traffic accident, which costed the lives of 7 workers and resulted in 20 others injured.
A tractor carrying Kurdish workers from Amed to Sakarya had an accident in Çamlıca neighborhood in Sakarya’s Hendek district Friday morning. In the fatal accident 7 workers lost their lives and 20 others got injured.
While several medical teams were dispatched to the crash scene, the wounded were taken with ambulances and civilian vehicles to the hospitals in the district.
The Kurdish workers involved in the crash are originally from the Amed city and were heading to Sakarya to harvest nuts as seasonal workers.
