People's Defence Forces Press Office HPG-BIM has released a statement providing information about the most recent actions carried out against ISIS gangs in Sinjar region.

According to the statement, 9 members of the gangs were killed in the actions carried out by HPG guerrillas and YBŞ (Sinjar Resistance Units) fighters.

The statement said that HPG guerrillas and YBŞ forces ambushed ISIS gangs on Sinjar-Rojava road late yesterday evening, killing four members of the gangs, wounding two others and destroying a vehicle belonging to them.

According to the statement, 1 gang member was killed in a suicide act by YBŞ forces in the Sinunê village on 13 October, and 1 other killed in another suicide act in the village of Solak 14 October.

On the other hand, three gang members were killed after a group of ISIS militants was spotted and hit by HPG guerrillas with heavy weapons around the cement plant near the village of Hergan in Sinjar yesterday afternoon.
