Actions in Europe for the freedom of Öcalan

Tent demonstrations for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan continue in Kiel, Germany and Den Haag, the Netherlands. Protestors also came together in Innsbruck, Austria and organized a sit in to protest the massacres in Kurdistan.

A tent demonstration led by the Democratic Kurdish Society Center in Kiel city center, Germany. Protesters emphasized the isolation of Öcalan, and informed the public about the AKP’s massacres in Kurdistan. Posters demanding freedom to political prisoners, calling for an end to the ban on the PKK, and demanding the freedom of Öcalan were put up during the demonstration where organizers distributed several pamphlets.

DEN HAAG

A tent demonstration has also been taking place in Den Haag, the Netherlands. Several pamphlets on the isolation of Öcalan were distributed during the demo in Den Haag city center. Visitors of the tent showed great interest in the massacres carried out across Kurdistan and the isolation of Öcalan.

INNSBRUCK

In Innsbruck, Austria, protestors organized a sit in and condemned the massacres in Kurdistan. Protestors wore t-shirts that said “We are being killed” in German and distributed pamphlets during the protest which took place on Maria Theressa Avenue in Innsbruck city center.
