Activists in Europe protest the AKP-MHP fascism

Actions and protests were organised in Europe to protest the Turkish attacks on Kurds.

Kurds in Europe took to the streets today in many European cities.

DUISBURG

An action was organized by the Democratic Kurdish Community Center in Duisburg, Germany, in Neu Markt Paltz with the slogan 'Don't touch my will, Kurdistan cannot breathe'.

PKK Central Committee Member Kasım Engin, who fell martyr on 27 May, was commemorated during the action which also protested the attacks against Zînî Wertê in South Kurdistan and the seizure of 5 HDP-run municipalities.

'Invader attacks deepening'

Speaking at the rally, FED-MED co-chair Engin Sever said: "The colonial Turkish state continues its attacks against South Kurdistan. The occupation is deepened not just by the attacks but also by the police stations and intelligence centers established in dozens of different locations.”

Emphasizing that the Turkish state tries to generate conflict between the Kurds, Sever said: "Kasım Engin struggled his entire life to improve the freedom-equality of the people of Kurdistan and the region. He struggled with great self-sacrifice for his people's freedom and unity.”

The rally saw the participation of over 500 Kurds and friends who marched to the city hall.
