Activists in Munich pay tribute to the Rojava Revolution

The 8th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution was celebrated with a march in Munich.

The anniversary of the Rojava Revolution was celebrated in Munich in an action organised by the Sara Women's Council, the Kurdish Community Center and Kurdistan Solibund.

The action started with a minute silence in memory of the martyrs of Kurdistan and the revolution. Activists chanted slogans such as "Bijî berxwedana Rojava", "Jin, jîyan, azadî", "Terrorist Erdogan", "Long live international solidarity" were chanted.

After the march, a rally was held. The speeches at the rally emphasized that the Rojava Revolution is a hope for all peoples and communities. Activists condemned the Turkish state's occupation attacks and massacres continue.

Speakers also drew attention to the cooperation of the German government with Turkey and call on people to protest the attacks.
