Activists in Nancy protest Turkish invasion of Rojava

Actions continue around Europe to protest the Turkish state invasion attacks on Rojava. Since 9 October 2019, when the occupation began, Kurds and their friends have been protested in Nancy, France, on a weekly basis.

The Kurdish people and their friends gather at Place Maginot every Friday to protest against the Kurdish people genocide attacks and Rojava invasion carried out by Turkey. The action is organised by the Rojava Committee.

Speakers pointed out that the AKP / MHP fascist government needs wars to avoid addressing the political and economic crisis it is experiencing.

Speakers also called for participation in the march to be held in Strasbourg on 15 February. The march is organised to condemn once again the international conspiracy which ended with the capture of Abdullah Ocalan.

Nancy Rojava Committee is made up of groups such as SOLIDAIRES, the PCF, the CGT, France Insoumise, the Ecole Emancipe, Kurdish and Turkish democracy and left-wing groups living in Europe.
