Activists in Vienna protest arrest of 55 young people in Den Haag

A protest was held in Vienna to protest the detention of 55 young people who demonstrated in front of the OPCW against the Turkish state's use of chemical weapons.

A sit-in was held in front of the Dutch Embassy in Vienna to protest the detention of 55 young people who demonstrated in front of the OPCW (Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) against the Turkish state's use of chemical weapons on 3 December.

In the sit-in organized by the Kurdish Cultural Association, banners were unfurled saying "Turkey is killing with chemical weapons" and "Stop the Turkish state's attacks on Kurdish settlements".

The action demanded the immediate release of 55 activists.
