ADGB calls for joint struggle against attacks of the German state

The Alliance of Democratic Forces condemned the repression of German authorities against the largest Kurdish umbrella organization in Europe, KCDK-E, and called for solidarity.

The Alliance of Democratic Forces in Europe (ADGB) released a statement on the repression of German authorities against the European Kurdish Democratic Kurdish Society Congress (KCDK-E) and called for solidarity.

The statement said, “The 4th congress of KCDK-E, the biggest Kurdish institution in Europe, which was planned to be held in Cologne city of Germany on July 11, was unjustly blocked by the German police. It is apparent that this unlawful practice of the German government was ordered by fascist Erdogan.”

Pointing out the Turkish state’s genocidal and occupation attacks, the statement pointed out that, “Such an unlawful practice by the German government against KCDK-E reveals the deep relations between the fascist expansionist Turkish state and the German state. Once again, the German state, through such an attitude, has proved that it stands with the fascist Turkish state and Erdogan.”

The ADGB statement continued, “Recently, the German government has blocked the flights of the Defend Kurdistan Initiative to South Kurdistan and today, it has obstructed the congress meeting of KCDK-E. With such a decision, the German government has violated its own laws and constitution. We call on all of our patriot and revolutionary people to stand with KCDK-E and enhance the common struggle in the streets against the German government’s unjust and anti-democratic attacks.”
