AKP practices to be protested in Europe today and tomorrow

TJK-E has announced the demonstrations timeline against the Turkish state's isolation and occupation attacks, called for strong attendance from Kurds in Europe and their friends and gavea message of joint struggle.

Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (TJK-E) issued a written statement on the Turkish state's İmrali isolation, invasion attacks on Rojava and trustee appointments to municipalities in Northern Kurdistan.

The statement emphasized that the Turkish state has put plans in motion to stop Rojava from obtaining official status by attacking Rojava and mentioned the Turkish military invasion of Jarablus.

The statement also underlined the great resistance and struggle in Rojava, in all four parts of Kurdistan and in Shengal to protect the Kurdish people and ensure their freedom.

TJK-E pointed out that the Turkish state isn't only attacking Rojava, but also appointing trustees to the people's municipalities in Northern Kurdistan and said the following on the isolation:

"As a result of these policies, a dark and boundless isolation is imposed upon the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Isolation has been taken on as policy. They are strictly keeping our Leader from relaying his thoughts and analyses to the public. The isolation imposed upon our Leader is the isolation imposed on a people, a community and women. This isolation is being used as a tool of war, insolubility and a means to deepen the crisis. It is deepening the war between Kurds and Turks and is weakening both sides and leaving them in need, in line with the plans of imperialist forces. These forces don't want the Kurdish issue to be solved and Turkey to be democratized and are constantly forcing the deep implementation of this isolation and making it permanent. Because these forced were the ones who handed over our leader to the Turkish state, and they based themselves on the continuation of a never ending war between two peoples. This is why opposing the isolation will mean the union of the two peoples and their fraternity as much as standing with solution and democracy.”

TJK-E underlined that all who are against war and for democracy should unite, and called on the Kurdish people, democrats and their friends to actively take part in the demonstrations.
