AKP's seizure of Kurdish municipalities protested in France

Kurds living in France held demonstrations to protest the AKP's seizure of 24 Kurdish municipalities through an appointment of trustees and the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

PARIS-NORMANDIA

A demo organised by Paris and Normandia Democratic Kurdish Society Centers in front of the Motre-Dame Church was joined by dozens of Kurds who opened a huge banner reading “Kurdistan resists against despot Erdoğan”. Demonstrators handed in leaflets to inform the French society about the appointment of trustees to DBP-held municipalities, isolation of Öcalan and Turkish occupation of Jarablus.

VILLIERS LE BEL

Villiers Le Bel Democratic Kurdish Society Center also staged a demonstration against the Turkish state's appointment of trustees to Kurdish municipalities and genocidal attacks against the Kurdish people. Demonstrators met with officials from Sarcelles, Goness, Arnoville and Villiers Le Bel municipalities and submitted files detailing the situation in Northern Kurdistan.
