All suspects in ISIS case in Amed released
All the suspects have been released in the case on the operation on an ISIS cell in Amed in which 3 policemen and 7 ISIS members were killed in 2015.

On 26 October 2015 police forces raided a house where ISIS members were staying in Kayapınar district of Amed. Clash erupted during the raid, in which 2 policemen and 7 ISIS members by the names of Veysel Argunağa, Cahit Ölmez, Serhat Seyithanoğlu, Ergün Gül, Sıdık Bünül, Orhan Genç and Ersel Gergüy were killed. 4 other policemen got wounded and one of them died while receiving treatment later on.
As part of the investigation into the incident following an examination in the house, 16 people were arrested for memberhip to ISIS and aiding and abetting ISIS.
12 of the arrestees were released following a hearing on 25 September 2016, and one other on 17 January 2017 after the hearing at Diyarbakır 4th High Criminal Court.
The remaining three suspects, Mustafa Deniz, Mahmut Demirtaş and ISIS-affiliated Unification Reading Room administrator Nihat Turan, have also been released by the court today “in consideration of the time they spent in jail” and “on condition of judicial control”.
