Another attack on HDP in Osmaniye

As attacks on HDP members, supporters and election offices continue going unpunished in line with the ongoing provocative statements of the AKP officials, the party is facing further attacks in almost all cities and districts across Turkey every day.

As attacks on HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) members, supporters and election offices continue going unpunished in line with the ongoing provocative statements of the AKP officials, the party is facing further attacks in almost all cities and districts across Turkey every day.

As part of the systematic attack against the party, a racist group  in the southern province of Osmaniye burned the HDP flags hanged outside the party's election office in Beyli Neighborhood.

HDP Party Assembly member Gülabi Köseoğlu said the AKP government was responsible for the attacks against their party, stressing that it was intended to confront HDP and MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) supporters each other, especially in Osmaniye.

Remarking that the AKP was launching a smear campaign against the HDP all over the country and provoking attacks targeting HDP, Köseoğlu said; “AKP felt worried on seeing that Kurdish and democratic groups in places like Osmaniye are turning towards the HDP. Witnessing the growth of the HDP, AKP is waging a war to push HDP out of Turkish cities.”

Köseoğlu emphasized that HDP wold defeat the dirty plans of the AKP by achieving a remarkable result from the elections in Osmaniye, like anywhere else.
