BDP Þýrnak deputy Faysal Sarýyýldýz who is currently in prison has announced that he will begin an indefinite hunger strike to protest against the condition in which Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan is kept.

Sarýyýldýz's decision follows that of jailed MP Selma Irmak who also has begun an hunger strike.

Sarýyýldýz MP is currently held in Mardin E Type prison while Irmak MP is in Diyarbakýr E Type prison.
