A three-day protest against Turkey's war of aggression in Kurdistan and the international community's support of the Erdogan regime began on Wednesday outside the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. Throughout the day, war crimes committed by the Turkish army were denounced. In the military operation waged in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) since April 17, the Turkish army has been using banned weapons against guerrilla positions, as it did in the previous battle.
At the end of the first day of protest, organized by the Kurdish women's association YJK-S, a performance took place in front of the entrance to the UN building. The activists involved wore symbolic protective clothing and gas masks to draw attention to the use of chemical weapons in Kurdistan. When the police wanted to carry out identity checks, the crowd reacted with loud protests. The action will continue today.
