An armored vehicle of police run over a man aged 55 outside the HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) election office in Bitlis province. The man by the name of Talat Uçar was seriously injured by the police vehicle which swiftly fled the scene after the incident.

Special operation teams wearing snow mask who were soon later dispatched to the scene as people reacted to the incident started opening fire into the air amidst tension.

Uçar was rushed to Birlis state hospital in an ambulance as tension continued.
