ISIS gangs launched simultaneous attacks on Battanî and al-Barîd neighborhoods of Raqqa at around 19:40 Sunday evening.

Clashes erupted with the response of SDF fighters and continued till Monday evening when attacks on both neighborhoods have been repelled.

According to SDF sources, 76 ISIS members have been killed in the neighborhood of Battanî west of Raqqa. Bodies of all remained in SDF possession. The number of those ISIS members killed in al-Barîd neighborhood east of the city has not been clarified yet.

Following their defeat, ISIS gangs have started to attack the Romania neighborhood and fighting erupted upon the response of SDF fighters.

According to reports, 4 SDF fighters have fallen as martyrs during clashes since yesterday.
