As YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue making advances in ISIS stronghold Raqqa, ISIS gangs have launched a large-scale attack on SDF positions around the Mustefa Mosque in 7 groups with bomb-laden vehicles.

Fierce clashes erupted following the response from SDF fighters who then repelled the attack and destroyed two bomb-laden vehicles and one military vehicle belonging to the gangs. 41 from the ISIS groups were killed and their bodies remain in the clashes area.

SDF fighters have also seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition in the areas they have taken under their control in the Nazlat Shehade neighbourhood.
