Austrian parliamentarian Ewa Ernst-Dziedzic condemned the recent increasing pressures on the HDP, especially the closure case brought on the orders of the AKP-MHP government. Ernst-Dziedzic, who criticized the silence of European countries about the Erdogan regime's increasing pressure and human rights violations, said: "If the judiciary shuts down the HDP, this will be the last step to give way to the creation of autocracy in Turkey."

Austrian parliamentarian Ernst-Dziedzic, who published her solidarity message with the HDP on her social media accounts, recently demanded that international sanctions be imposed on the Erdogan regime if Turkey continues to violate human rights and to ignore the rule of law. In her message, Ernst-Dziedzic also harshly criticized Turkey's withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention by presidential decree.
