Banners and posters carrying the words of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan were hung in different borough of Copenhagen.
An action was carried out in Copenhagen within the framework of the campaign for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan. Banners and posters with Öcalan's words "Everything for a peaceful and democratic future" were hung on a busy bridge of the city.
The activists also hung banners saying "Freedom for Öcalan" and "No to the Imrali torture and isolation system" in different locations throughout the city.
Letter action
A thousand more letters were sent to the UN demanding freedom for Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Some 4059 letters had been sent so far, within the framework of the letter campaign launched by the South African Kurdish Working Group (KHRAG) and the Confederation of Trade Unions of South Africa (COSATU).
