The first visit of Basque parliamentarians was to Sur Mayor Abdullah Demirbaþ who is not permitted to leave Turkey despite his urgent need of treatment which he can only receive abroad. KCK detainee Demirbaþ was released on conditions of trial without arrest owing to his disease called DVT which can cause death if goes untreated.

Parliamentarians of Basque country will continue their program with meetings at BDP Diyarbakýr Office, Meya-Der (association of relatives of the disappeared people) and IHD (Human Rights Association).
