BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) has begun to take concrete steps after its four months work towards the creation of a ‘democracy front’. It completed the first round by meeting various left political parties in four months and will be holding a big meeting in the coming days in Istanbul to determine the name and basic units of the association.

The work towards the creation of a ‘democracy front’ was started by the BDP in February and it aimed to create a power that will move together on social issues and will have a role in the solution of these issues and problems. The second round of this work will be a big meeting in Istanbul with will see the attendance of the main left political parties and corporations.

Another part of the work, will see the BDP meeting STK (civil society organizations) members, which will make the ‘democracy front’ wider and stronger.
