The BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) has released a plan on action to counter and protest against the recent wave of arrests in many cities.
Among the actions to be discussed and agreed on with party members and structures are a campaign in defense of the right to be a BDP member; the preparation of a comprehensive file on the so called KCK (Kurdish Communities Union) case.
Preparations are underway also for a campaign called "I am sharing the same political ideas and practices of the KCK prisoners".
Meeting are to take place in different cities, beginning with Diyarbakýr on 19 November and Istanbul on 20 November.
On 25 November, Day against violence against women, the BDP women council will be present with its own program and slogans.
The BDP also urged members and structures to support those professors who have expressed their intention to give lessons at the BDP political academy in solidarity with the jailed academics.
