Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş and parliamentary group deputy chair Pervin Buldan have returned from Imralı prison in the evening.

Speaking to Nuçe TV following the visit to Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan, Selahattin Demirtaş said that the party would make a statement about the details of the meeting on Tuesday.

Demirtaş said Öcalan was in good condition, and that he sent his greetings to workers of the Kurdish press.

Demirtaş underlined that both the BDP and the Kurdish leader would be following the peace process closely.

BDP co-chair remarked that the democratic solution process has entered the second phase.
