The BDP (Democratic and Peace Party) will announce on Thursday its decision about the elections ruling by the High Elections Body (YSK, Yüksek Seçim Kurulu).
On Monday came the shocking decision by the Body to exclude from the contest 12 independent candidates, 8 supported by the BDP.
"This is a fascist implementation. We cannot take part in an anti-democratic, unfair election," Selahattin Demirtas, co-chair of the BDP told to news channel NTV.
Demirtas said they would discuss all alternatives including their withdrawal of all candidates from elections.
Demirtas slammed the veto decision calling it "a state plot" and urged the parliament to postpone the elections, NTV said.
The vetoed candidates include veteran Kurdish politicians Leyla Zana and Hatip Dicle as well as two current BDP members of parliament, Gultan Kisanak and Sebahat Tuncel. Also vetoed well known journalist Ertugrul Kurkçu.
The High Election Board vetoed the candidacy of 12 independent bidders, saying they had former convictions preventing them from running for parliament.
