The protest in the Dutch capital Amsterdam against the massacres in North Kurdistan and Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s isolation at İmralı Island has entered its thirds day.
Protestors called upon the European Union (EU) to stop taking part in the human rights violations in Turkey, cancel all agreements with Turkey, and take steps so that Turkey would take democratic steps. Protestors have also been calling for an end to Öcalan’s isolation and the genocidal attacks in North Kurdistan.
Pamphlets in Dutch and English, and the photos of July 14 martyrs and Hurşit Külter have decorated the protest area.
Poet Mehmet Çetin evaluated the July 14 resistance during the protest, which will end at 14:00 on July 14.
