The town of Tuz Khurmatu in the district of Selahaddin has been shaken by a huge bomb attack Saturday noon. Local sources report that 3 security officers have died in the attack.

A car bomb was detonated in front of the PUK (Patriotic Union of Kurdistan) office located on the Baghdad-Kirkuk highway at 11:40 today noon.

According to initial reports coming through, 3 security officers have died in the explosion which also left many wounded.

Local sources report another explosion occurred soon later and sounds of gunfight can be heard from the scene.
