A ceasefire has been announced between Jarablus Military Council and Turkish army in the wake of clashes that began with Turkish incursion into the city last week.

According to information obtained from military sources in the region, the ceasefire was declared after an intervention by US officials.

Jarablus Military Council is expected to make a statement on the ceasefire.
