Ceasefire in Syria prolonged for 2 more days

USA State Department Deputy Spokesperson Mark Toner announced that the ceasefire in Syria had been prolonged for 2 more days.

In the daily press conference, USA State Department Deputy Spokesperson Mark Toner said Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov spoke on the phone.

Toner said the ministers came to an agreement to prolong the 7 day ceasefire in Syria that started on September 12 for two more days.

Toner expressed that the violence in Syria in general had decreased significantly in comparison with the previous ceasefires, but that there were still some violations.
