In a written statement, the Children of Fire Initiative said: "Two factories owned by supporters of the AKP hostile to Kurdish and Kurdistan were set on fire. The Children of Fire Initiative will be the nightmare of the fascists.”

Details of actions

The statement gave the following details of the actions: "On 5 June we set a recycling facility on fire in Menemen, Izmir. The factory was heavily damaged.

On 5 June we also set a wood processing factory on fire in Bursa. The warehouse section, the largest part of the factory, was completely destroyed."
