Republican People’s Party (CHP) mayoral candidate for Urfa’s Siverek district, Fatih Bucak, was detained by the police for battering AKP district council member candidate Nusret Kaya during the voting procedures.

Kaya is reported to have gotten seriously wounded and taken to hospital.

The Security Director of Urfa province has also gone to Siverek in the face of the incidents.
