CHP President: We opened a breach on the wall, next we destroy it

Kılıçdaroğlu reminded that the AKP votes fell to 42.5% from 49.5%.

CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made a statement on the Presidential and Parliamentary elections, although results are not official yet.

Kılıçdaroğlu talked journalists and after thanking the thousands of volunteers who worked on the elections, remarked that this contest was not fair.

"There were pressures, our friends were stabbed, our young people. We had an elections under State of Emergency. Our friends have worked for years as observers. All the facilities of the state were being used for the contrary of what they should be used for. Governor, district governor, security forces, radios, TVs, were under control of the ruling force."

Kılıçdaroğlu reminded that the AKP votes fell to 42.5% from 49.5%. "This is very important for us. - he said - The ruling party actually lost 7% of votes."

The CHP president added: "Yesterday's single man was strong, today he cannot do whatever he wants. We will protect the reputation of the Parliament. We are very well aware of the mandate the nation has given us and we know how we will use it."

Using phrases like democracy of the nation, living together, the CHP leader added: "We will pursue this with the parliamentary power. We have opened a breach on the wall and we will destroy the rest."

Kılıçdaroğlu added: "This process was not easy, getting this result was not easy. Everyone should know how we got here."

Underlining the obstacle represented by the 10 percent election threshold, Kılıçdaroğlu said: "The voice of the CHP in Central Anatolia will come out louder. We did one more thing: In the past, the government wanted a two-party parliament. We were able to carry all the colors to the parliament. Not a hundred percent, no. But we were able to carry a significant part of it."

Asked whether he congratulated Erdogan, Kılıçdaroğlu said: "We cannot congratulate a man who doesn't believe in democracy, a man who defends the one-man regime. Congratulate him for what? How would I congratulate a dictator? Someone who is a dictator is not to be congratulated."

The CHP leader said: "It may be that the election results, are everything, but let's be honest: in democracy there are facts , not election results. The struggle should be on equal terms."

Kılıçdaroğlu reminded of the local elections scheduled in 9 months. "The second part of the wall will be destroyed then. We will get much stronger results."
