Clashes broke out today during the operation of the Turkish army in Cudi area of Þýrnak.

At least one specialist sergeant died and five soldiers were wounded in the clash, say the initial reports coming.

The name of the specialist sergeant is reported to be Mehmet Bostanoðlu.

The Turkish army has dropped bombs on Media Defense Areas since 17 August. The army targeted a civilian car and killed seven people on 21 August of this year. Media Defense Areas contain a number of villages.
