Clashes continue in Syria despite the ceasefire

Clashes continue in different parts of Syria despite the ceasefire reached by the US and Russia.

The US and Russia reached an agreement for a ceasefire in Syria. The related sides of the ceasefire have not implemented the agreement yet, and the Ba’athist regime stated that it downed an Israeli warplane and an Israeli drone near the region of Quneitra.

London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that regime forces shelled the Taiba al-Imam and Kawkab towns to the north Hama, and armed opposition groups responded to the shelling as they shelled Sehleb town to the west of Hama around 19:00.

On its website, Qasyûn stated that the regime forces in Aleppo violated the ceasefire 7 times and attacked the towns of Kefer Dail, Hor and al-Mansoura with missiles.

Armed opposition groups stated that they bombarded the Quneitra region and al-Hader town to the south of Syria under regime control, and regime forces stated that they downed an Israeli warplane and an Israeli drone to the north of Quneitra.
