One soldier has died and six others were injured as a result of an attack by PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) guerrilla around Hakkari early on Thursday.

According to some information simultaneous attacks on 10 separate targets in the Çukurca district where launched by the Kurdish guerrillas.

Hakkari Governor Muammer Türker also confirmed the death toll in the attacks.
