Twelve Iranian Revolution Guards died and three guerrillas lost their lives during the clashes between Iran army corps and PJAK Kurdish guerrillas in Soma region of East Kurdistan. In an other incident three Revolution Guards and two village guards were killed in Kamyaran and Ciwanro.
A statement from PJAK indicated that the three guerrillas killed three Revolution Guards in a raid on a station of the Iranian army on 25 May in Lon village of Kamyaran.
PJAK recorded that a group of rangers ran into an ambush prepared by guerrillas in Ciwanro region; 2 rangers were killed.
According to the statement; a violent clash broke out in 14 May between Kurdish guerrillas and Iran state forces in Soma region; 12 Revolution Guards were killed, 4 injured.
On the other hand, it was also recorded that two army posts belonging to Iranian army were discharged in Seqiz and Meriwan regions.
