A large crowd protesting against the ongoing military operations has been attacked by police with tear gas in front of Beyoðlu Police Station in Istanbul. The police threw tear gas into the crowd to disperse it while people tried to respond by throwing stones.

The Police Station was under siege. Police reacted by firing into the air.

Earlier in the neighbourood of Gazi 30 people had been arrested.
